SNOW DAYS
In the case of severe winter weather, RockStar Music School & Concert Hall will have a voice message posted by 12 noon of that day to alert students and parents that we will not be open. The safety of all students, parents and teachers is our primary concern, but please bear in mind that we do not make up lessons that are lost because of severe weather, so chances are that we will be open unless the conditions are just too dangerous - since our frst season in 2006 we have only lost 2 days because of weather conditions. NEVER ASSUME WE ARE CLOSED – ALWAYS CALL!!!

REFUNDS
There are absolutely NO REFUNDS for any services or items sold at RockStar Music School & Concert Hall.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE FOR 2011/12
THANKSGIVING - October 10th, 2011
CHRISTMAS - Dec. 26th, 2011 to Jan. 6th, 2012
FAMILY DAY - February 20th, 2012
MARCH BREAK - March 12th to 16th, 2012
GOOD FRIDAY - April 6th, 2012
VICTORIA DAY - May 21st, 2012

Make-Up lessons are offered for all the above Holiday dates except Christmas and March Break.

Remember that music lessons at RockStar are TAX FREE and we DO NOT charge extra registration fees or entry fees for our student concerts! Band practices are also FREE.

MAKE-UP LESSONS
Students are permitted 3 make-up lessons for the full season (Sept-June) including sick days and vacations. In order to qualify for a make-up lesson RockStar Music School must be notified that you will not be attending at least 24 HOURS before a scheduled lesson. Unfortunately, in the case of sudden illness, the lesson will be lost because there is not enough time to get the instructor's schedule filled up again. It is the student's or parent's responsibility to make arrangements for scheduling make-up lessons - RockStar will not contact you regarding the scheduling of your make-up class.

TEACHER'S ABSENCE
If your instructor happens to be absent, for whatever reason, a make-up lesson will be granted to the student if another teacher is not able to fill in.

CONCERTS
Although we would like ALL students to participate in our student concerts at RockStar, there are some cases where it is not possible. Here are some reasons: a) the student has missed too many lessons; b) the student is not capable of performing at concert level; c) the student does not practice enough; d) the student is late for or misses band practices.
