Here is list of RockCamps offered at RockStar:

Songwriting - This camp is all about writing original material with other bandmates. We start with lyrics, move on to melodies, rhythms, arrangements and end up with some very impressive songs that are recorded and performed in our RockStar Concert Hall. Instructors are there to guide students through the process. Students who play guitar, bass, drums or keyboards, and vocalists are welcome. Some experience is a plus but not necessary.

Guitar & Bass - For those students who play guitar or bass, this will be a camp you won’t soon forget. This camp is all about rocking out on your four or six-stringed axe!!! We will cover all types of topics such as: theory, technique, reading & writing music, arranging and composing for your particular instrument, in all sorts of genres from rock, metal, blues, jazz, etc. Full blown jam sessions will take place with our instructors to help you with your improvisational skills and turn you into a better all-round player.

Drums & Percussion - Drum instructors work with various groups of students and put together small and large percussion pieces where students get a chance to learn to work in groups and as solo players. All drummers welcome - beginners, intermediate or advanced.

NEXT ROCKCAMP - March 2010

Our RockCamps take place in the summer and during March Break. These camps are a truly rewarding experience for everyone involved. The students get to have a blast playing music with each other and learn a lot during the week-long process.

We offer a variety of camps suited for different age groups and a variety of musicians - both experienced and beginners. RockStar treats the participants to lunch at the end of the week followed by a performance for family and friends.

The camps are a great way for kids to sharpen their music skills and have a great time doing it!
